Former Cobourg resident Brian Connor created Brian’s Rice Lake Challenge in 2008. Brian swims annually in memory of his two brothers, Kevin and Terry, who sadly lost their battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at very early ages.

On Saturday August 25th, swimmers, cyclists, walkers, stand-up paddleboarders, and canoeists will come together to fundraise to support DMD research. Register to participate and fundraise, or donate to someone already participating!

Bike 100km around Rice Lake:
Start - 6:00am, Gores Landing Dock

Tyler's Walk to Defeat Duchenne (3km or 6km):
Registration - 9:00am
Start - 9:30am, Gores Landing Dock 


Join Brandy Dogan Stand-Up Paddleboarding across Rice Lake (4.5km)


22km Walk to Gores Landing Dock:
Start - 6:00am, Victoria Park

24-Hour Tree Sit to Defeat Duchenne
